Hugh Burke
CEO, Asia Pacific, COFACE
Hugh Burke has been appointed the CEO of Coface Asia-Pacific Region in April 2022. He is nominated as the Chair of the Asia Committee for ICISA in March 2023.

Hugh joined Coface as Chief Commercial Officer for the Asia-Pacific region in 2016. Based in Hong Kong, he successfully led the region’s commercial transformation, with record year-on-year growth since 2018. Coface is now recognised as a market leader by our clients and partners in Asia-Pacific.

Hugh has more than 20 years of experience within the trade credit insurance industry, where he has held senior positions at major specialist brokers.  Prior to joining Coface, Hugh was Head of Aon Asia’s trade credit business.

Hugh has strong relationships within the global trade credit insurance industry and specialises in structuring and implementing trade credit solutions for both financial institutions and companies across all business segments.


Pamela Qiu
Partner, CONTROL RISKS
Pamela is a Partner at Control Risks, and is responsible for the growth of the business in Singapore and across South East Asia. She manages its key client relationships and partnerships in the region, advising senior stakeholders on how to best manage their strategic and operational risks across their investment cycle.

Before Control Risks, Pamela was Network Director at The Economist Group, where she led The Economist’s CEO insight and intelligence service, driving its thought leadership agenda and client engagement in South East Asia.

Pamela was also previously Global Head for Business Development at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, an international non-profit organisation, engaging with major stakeholders across the plastic value chain to strengthen a circular economy for plastics.


Jean-Christophe Caffet
Group Chief Economist, COFACE
A graduate of the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP) and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Jean-Christophe Caffet began his career in the banking sector in 2005.

He spent 9 years within the Natixis / BPCE group as an economist specialising in France and the euro zone. In 2014, he joined the strategy and economic intelligence department of TotalEnergies as Deputy of the Chief Economist, which allowed him to become an expert in energy markets while continuing to make macroeconomic forecasts.  

In 2019, he became Chief Economist of the TotalEnergies Group before being appointed Coface Chief Economist in November 2021.


Matthieu Garnier
Group Director, Business Information, COFACE
Matthieu is leading Coface B2B Business Intelligence Services. 

Prior to joining Coface Group, Matthieu was Chief Data and Analytics Officer for international businesses at Equifax, where he managed a global team of data scientists and business analysts. He has driven the development and scaling up of Equifax’s new data analytics organization, and has developed an innovative offering. 

Matthieu started his career in risk management in the consumer credit business, notably with BNP Paribas, where he was Chief Risk Officer for businesses in Paris and Madrid.

Simone Lovati
Managing Director, Asia, CRIF
Simone Lovati is the Managing Director, Asia at CRIF, an established leader in credit bureau, business information and credit risk solutions. In addition to leading over 500 employees across Asia to enable businesses with data-driven insights, Simone is responsible for growing CRIF’s presence in the region.

He brings extensive experience in consulting, credit information, data, analytics and digital transformation for various sectors, including banking, fashion, automotive and technology. A champion for customer experience, Simone is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for CRIF’s customers, with premium programmes and fast-track delivery.

Prior to CRIF, Simone spent seven years with the Cerved Group, a leading data company in Italy, where he held various roles in product and marketing. Simone holds a Master of Science in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an Executive degree in Big Data and Strategic Decisions from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Ryan Kemp
Global Business Development Leader, Business Information, COFACE
Ryan is responsible for helping our customers meet the demands of global credit risk and supplier management using the range of Coface Business Information Solutions.
 
Prior to joining Coface , Ryan worked for leading data brands such TransUnion and Call Credit Information, helping customers and partners adopt information and insight solutions.
 
Ryan started his careers working for global brands such as eBay and Amazon in business development and sales roles.

Joe Jacob

Joe Jacob joined Coface as Regional Head of Commercial & Sales Enablement, Business Information, Asia Pacific in 2023. 

Based in Singapore, Joe is responsible for the commercial development of business information products of Coface in all markets in the region. 

Joe brings more than 25 years of experience in the data and information solutions industry and is a recognized leader in Strategic Business, Pre-sales and Sales. With Joe’s extensive consulting and value-added sales experience, he will train and develop a high-performance BI sales team across the region and support our incremental growth strategy and plan.
